What is a proxy for an instagram account, and why is it needed?

IM trying to promote my website with SMM services, im getting blocked after 5-6 messages for some hours.

Just purchased 5 instagram accounts aged to get more DMs out.
Im doing all this manually from phone.

Proxies are used when you manage multiple account and you want to protect (isolate) an account's actions from the others.

Using a proxy for each IG account, you isolate your accounts. And in the case of getting one acc blocked, the others won't suffer anything.

Proxies won't solve your problem of getting blocked once you use them. Is not that if IG sees your account coming from a different IP, it will allow you to do anything you want.

A proxy will only protect your account going forward. And if your acc history has been already "flagged" with IG, then you won't be able to change it by using a proxy.

Im using no proxy at the moment, im using my phone and 4 aged accounts to DM people, but im keep getting blocked on each account once i sent over 5 DMS.
My goal is actually to have atleast 20 accounts automated with auto like auto dm with custom list of usernames i have to target, you know what i mean?

In this case, if you used all your accounts on the same device, through the same location, IG already knows there's a link between them.

1. Use a tool like Jarvee. But (this is important) before starting to use your proxies, make sure you do not create any correlation between them (in your case the IP of the server used by your tool) and use each account through a different IP address.

2. Hide one VA for each account. Hire a VA to do 10 mins of daily social interactions for each account and tell them to use their personal device to connect to the account (you will need to hire one VA for each account).

VA stands for Virtual Assistant - someone who can help you out with a task for (usually) a low cost!

In this situation it's not as cost effective as automating it but potentially safer and frees up your time to work on other stuff

If you want to automate things you'll need software + proxies - if you opt for a VA then usually they can use their own device.
