Howdy!

So for those who dont know, I own a real state company.
With corona virus and all that prices for masks, cleaning gel and related are expensive, got some reports people selling masks for 30x or 40x the price, there is a limitation right now to buy cleaning gel.

Fortunately I've put my hands in a really big stock of those products, I use them on my company for tourists.
I has thinking about creating a store, to sell masks and gel in 30<ml 50<ml 70<ml bottles.

What do you guys think?

Shouldn't be a problem... create the listing on amazon and see what the sales are.

What happens when you sell your stock, and have none left for your own business needs?

You won't be able to get it either if production slows.

While it may be a quick way to get some money, I think it is a bad move. Although I am not Richard Branson...

The thing is I think I can buy more, the price will be higher but I have providers that can guaranteed stock.

the first thing with that statement is the word I have highlighted.

What is your plan? For argument's sake:

  • You bought it for $1 per 100ml.
  • You sell it for $3 per 100ml.
  • Great, you have made $2/100ml (not taking into account postage fees.)
  • Now your GUARANTEED supplier says that they can't get it because they had an offer from a medical company that they couldn't and shouldn't refuse. OR they want $4 per 100ml.

So you have spent time and money to lose $1/100ml or worse, all of the stock that you could use that you already had. Even if you have a contract that says you will receive the sanitizer, you think that anyone would fight to uphold that contract in a time like this?

As I said, I do not know enough to give a full, fact-based argument on it, but my initial thought is that it is not a good move, both for you and your business.

If you think it is, then go for it and prove me wrong.

Good luck. :)

Now the demand is at its peak, so you need not to hesitate

keep it or give it to needy people at cost

or, sell it at a minimal profit and gain lifetime customers for your other ventures, at this time of a global crisis...

I think this could be a great plan. But still, save enough for your own business and family needs.

I do work in exports. We are working on shipping the 3 ply and N95 things at the moment. Indian gov made some strict regulations speciaLly to those containers to china. All the stock piled up in godowns.

Now the things getting started in my country aswell. If the things would get proper approvals we are planning to distribute everything locally.

People are in a state of heart attack mode specially those in these medical gloves and masks things. Things moving up and down with in hours all day everyday.

My business sells the Hand Sanitising Gel in the UK, we are currently waiting around 3 weeks plus to get new stocks in. Our plan is to maintain a fair pricing strategy, our customers have been made aware costs will increase as raw material costs rise. It looks to be a good way to introduce new business as the enquiries for it have gone through the roof.

Buy BRL with your USD.

Its record;

Wait and buy USD....

If you are not in France or Germany, you are ok. Here the gov can confiscate those items because it is highly needed by medical experts.

If you really want to go for it then throw them on Amazon, it all depends on how what country you're in though.

Definitely go for it .. infact I was thinking of doing the same. But backed out because this might be very short term and the world will eventually come to terms with it.

Go for it!

A buddy of mine made a "prepper" website in his native language, monetized with aff-links and so far its going pretty well apparently. Worth to consider doing SEO for your masks, perhaps even spam-links just to make a pump-and-dump ecommerce store about this? Corona isnt here to stay for long...
