Hello, guys,

Let me ask you something. I want to enter a new niche. I wish to do it methodically. Since I don't have a lot of budgets, I'm trying to figure out the best way to get started.

Is it better to attack the niche vertically or horizontally?

For example, in this picture (just to illustrate). I could write horizontally

  1. vacuum cleaner

  2. upright vacuum

  3. vacuum cleaner robot

  4. wet vacuum
or vertically

  1. vacuum cleaner

  2. upright vacuum

  3. Best upright vacuum for...

  4. upright vacuum A vs

  5. upright vacuum B

  6. Review upright vacuum A

The way they look on the picture is fine, put many choices vertically looks to the viewer "overwhelming" and too much choices...(at least to my point of view)...

Always be gentle.

Littlebit strict nature also well and good.

Here's a nice post that explains it well:

I've written more vertically on my sites. I don't think I've ever thought about it as vertical or horizontal but I understand what you're getting at. I would usually write a post about upright vacuums in general and then have follow up post and reviews about the different types and accessories on upright vacuums and then my review posts about the different brands with my affiliate links.

Then I'd do the same thing for wet vacuums and then robot vacuums (whatever they are). I hope this helps and good luck.
