Hi All,

I might be wrong but below is my layman perspective to prevent from/until death due to Coronavirus.

As there are many articles about this virus from deaths to bioweapon and the decease spread drastically in China / Korea / Italy / Iran. But many countries like India / Bangladesh that have more population density either didn't get affected to that extent or the spread is unknown. Also, one have to know that earlier SARS flu spread in many countries but it was very limited in spreading in countries like India / Bangladesh. First reason i see it is because of heavy pollution in air along with heat in Indian cities which might had prevented the virus spread. Next is very importantly their vegetarian diets which consist of many spices / herbs as part of their food that prevents this lung related virus spread.

Healthy lungs meaning less death due to flu Coronavirus and less chances of infection.

Below are some recommended ingredients for healthy lungs:

Garlic
Ginger
Tomatoes
Pepper
Leafy greens
Brocolli
Vitamin C rich like Indian gooseberry, oranges
Vitamin D rich like Egg, Yogurt, Milk

Below are some not recommended food:

Processed Meat
Processed Oil
Heavy Cream
Heavy Butter

Just like anyone else, praying for the virus to go away and let the world be back to business..

Lets pray for India and neighbouring countries as its highly populated it might affect many and very difficult to manage

The Coronavirus didn't hit your country hard because it's intolerant of higher temperatures, not because you eat tomatoes. Nice sneaky ninja political brag though :D
Iran got affected heavily as well which is mostly desert and high temperatures.

Pretty true. Wish no countries have this.

From a Romanian perspective, this virus is totally sh*1. Approx. two weeks ago, the virus entered in Romania, from Italy. The whole country was in total chaos, due to our lovely world-wide mass media ( screw them ). Now, everything is fine and everybody laughs about it.

Of course, Corola, Corona, Covid or Covind-19 may rep a good source of income, but the subject itself is purely ridiculous.

Be safe!

Until vaccine is found, you should expect something like this worldwide.

I guess just be as healthy as you can be - eat well, drink well, don’t smoke, exercise. They’re probably the best defences against any virus.

then after that, make sure you are hygienic - wash hands regularly and so on.

If you’re vulnerable (elderly for example) then probably best to avoid large crowded places and also be careful where you put your hands (public handrails for example).

True. Also, avoid from coughs which is the main reason behind the spread of the virus.

Corona beer to fight the corona virus :)

But seriously, a shot of high degree alcohol at night might kill some of the germs in your mouth/throat if its just starting out. Couldn't hurt.

On average 3,287 people die each day worldwide in traffic-related accidents (Google it), more than the total number of deaths from coronavirus since December.

The regular influenza (the flu) kills up to 650,000 people worldwide each year. Put things in perspective and avoid the hype.

Traffic accidents aren't contagious.

Coronavirus has about 10x the mortality rate. But I was wondering what the panic would be like if everyone who caught the flu and/or died from the flu was added to the "total so far" on front page news around the world.

As far as marketing, there have been a few threads here about creating videos with data visualization. This one jumps on the "coronavirus" trend and does not use the now saturated "racing bars". 2.2 Million views an about 2 weeks,

Anyone here could quickly and easily make these kinds of videos and blow up a YT channel.

The Air Pollution in India will actually make things worse if it breaks out in India. Your diet is not going to have a big enough impact in the short term to prevent getting seriously sick from coronavirus.

Praying and hoping for the best.
