Adsense invalid traffic, what is it?

today my previous month payment got settled and I got this

nice way to steal money by saying invalid traffic while I never had done proxies or bot traffic.
I was getting normal clicks, on 2 days I got near 2$ each I was surprised but thought it is for real, some USA visitor has clicked the ad but now It really settled down.
So you should never be happy and surprised if you see exaggerating click on AdSense it will get settle down by saying invalid traffic lol

I wouldn’t sweat over $3.5
If you didn’t send bot traffic yourself it doesn’t mean there was no bot traffic on the site.

It’s not only for bots. Could be accidental clicks as well! It’s normal to see invalid clicks, everybody have them! Google usually remove them from earnings in real time, but there’s a parcel that gets removed by the 1st of the month for the previous month earnings. This month I generated $3.1k and had around $13 discounted. Pretty normal! But in your case you have almost 50% discounts, which is very very high and a big red flag. Maybe you are making a low quality site focused on a high paying niche, and you are trying to get them to click, other than providing valuable content. And as a result, people click by accident and things like that. Since advertiser is paying a lot per click, he will probably complain about the traffic to Google.

Mines is the same! They usually do this but the last few months have been 50-70 percent of my ad revenue from AdMob Applications - AdWords Ads. But also I have a high amount of users from places like india where they probably think my traffic is spam even though its not. Google ads arent a reliable source of income so this doesnt surprise me.

I don't know but my site is full of ads and I have added auto optimize codes, it does set ads automatically.
Just it was lying around for me, I know but it involves 0 effort to run just have to make payment of domain and host. Rest it runs on autopilot.
