It seems that Facebook is hateful to link shorteners. Bitly and Rebrandly is out when you try to post.

Does any know of a link shortener that will work on all sites ?

I have a website and domain name. But Facebook won’t take the shortened Bitly link for my domain.

Why ?

ive got about 30 adds on fb via bitly so no issues here

but i will add, ive had 1/2 links shortened by bitly that facebook
new the links and declined them , so ide say its the links
not the shortner

Are you using any free/cheap domain extension that you are sharing via url shortener?

Why don’t you use the direct link to your domain

If you cannot add you site without bit.ly you won't be able to add it with bit.ly. You can only cloack it and a shorterner of this liking won't do the trick. I'm not an expert on cloacking but maybe in the marketplace you could find a service.
