I think this forum needs a new rule

You are stealing other people's work and expecting decency ? I dont think that's how decency works.

Yes, Thats what exactly @BlackHatHam thread was about, yet it was black-slashed by Luco and now that thread was removed.

Well to learn from sharing knowledge is how we improvise quicker rather than the usual slow process.
I honestly don't mean to be rude, but you can't be that simple bro.

I'm not saying people shouldn't share information and knowledge, and who said anything about stealing other people's work?!?!

If you care enough about the community to promote sharing knowledge together, why don't you care about members of the same community who would get fucked over by other selfish members?? You can share knowledge together without having to add links, use your brain and describe the site without revealing it publicly - why is that a hard concept to understand???

And I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm not stealing anyone's work, and as far as I am aware, not many other people are either here. Blackhat SEO isn't about stealing people's work - what are you on about??

To be straight up, It doesn't feel worthwhile trying to hold this conversation up with you, but please try to read this message properly and absorb what I'm saying man.

Its not just about blackhat seo, I think you didnt see the (now-removed thread ) website, where the OP just asked on how that website functions grabbing the music download links without exposing the place where its actually hosted on.

So, no am not "only" mentioning about seo hacks, its also about the strategy we seek to learn about how certain things are done by a website onwer.

Not everyone knows ways to reverse engineer the success of a website.

If you think I trying to say blackhat seo is stealing, then you have got my point entirely wrong.

Can't you see the obvious difference between privately learning from bigger sites and publicly drawing attention to other peoples' sites for your personal gain and their personal loss?

What do you think someone ranking in the top 3 for competitive keywords is going to give a shit about why you screwed their traffic up?

Practice visualisation in order to develop empathy mate. It goes like this:

"If I was the person who's website I'm publicly revealing, and I had been working on it for 12 months, and that site was my main source of income so that I can buy food for my family, what would my reaction be if someone came along and publicly started posting about my method and site, knowing that it might lead to it being penalised?"

If your answer was "I would be more than a little unhappy about this", you answered correctly.
I agree with that. The link shouldn't be exposed. But I'm pointing the other things. Which are that the thread was trying to get the rank or seo. No, it was to learn the mechanism of the website, it's working and how it serves it's visitor.

It was a mistake to include the link to get the knowledge about working. But it can be simply solved by removing the link, not by removing whole thread. This is like only that owner of site has copyright to use that mechanism to start that site.
For example: Not everyone in movies niche used google photos for stream storage, everyone just learned it from their inspiration. And it's not like you can't share this method. Just like that you can't delete the thread, it is noticed by someone and that someone will try to discuss and share with others.

10,000,000 visits per day? That's more than WebMD, AOL, Fandango, and Quora, combined.
With a decade in back of hard work, you can get this amount on adult niche, and ofc with some proportions of luck, there are a lot of guys rolling it, but all of them old school, and all of them with at leas 10 years experience, so yeah.

I hope to be one of these soon, moving to Czechia when I have cash money.

If you wanted to know about the script what he use, why don't you asked about this topic only, without sharing the link? simple, I personally I have helped you with informations about how you can scrape, youtube, soundcloud, and any other public big site with content, how to hide stuff to can rank and so on, so don't try to wash this cause is already washed.

If someone is truly missing out on this amount of traffic, telling them to "report the post and move on" is like telling someone who just got an arm chopped off, to put on a band-aid and forget about it.

This is another reason why it's a bad idea to tell someone to just "report the post and move on". It may be months before even noticing that it's happened and by then, it may be far too late. The damage would likely already have been done.

That being said, we also cannot expect the moderators to catch every instance of this happening, and especially without each occurrence being reported.

Only thing I can think of, is some sort of limitation or prompt or something, prior to BHW allowing external URLs to be published.
And your alternative is to make every URL being posted undergo moderation? I understand the frustration but there really is nothing you can do beyond that.

People are posting as if it wasn’t against the rules to out someone’s niche when it is. Having a post reported usually gets the matter taken care of instantly.

So unless you can come up with someway to instinctively find out which posts are outing other member’s niches, reporting it as and when you see fit and moving on is all you can do. Or you can whine about it all day.

Ps. I’m against outing someone’s niches as well. I just think it’s dumb to think that it could somehow be prevented. It can only be dealt with.

Better Georgia, they are the best for what a IM guy needs, from money privacy to other good stuff.

You right in all your replies, and already said we are the main problem, and what I ask to the staff is just a sticky thread with this rule so every new comer and old users to remind is not a good idea to expose other work, thats all man, I think is not something like digging for gold.

My case not matter anymore, is consumed already, I'm already in recover mode, already learned how to have a better security, but is about others and others.

We all put hard work here, other struggle for couple of bucks, and if with some luck one of them rank and bank and get a better life, and some one with a simple line o text destroy it... now this is pain!

Nothing rocket since man!

I wanted to set an example in front of everyone BUT forgot that it could be harmful for website. That's where moderation should kick in to stop my thread from being publicly visible or just remove link and then post.
Ok listen this is going to continue in this forum till some amendments are brought. Cause this is very basic thing from my experience If I can post (expose unknowingly) a link just to gain some knowledge and get removed for exposing, then wouldn't it be easy to create spam account, expose (knowingly) and leave?

That site belongs to a member here and the thread is not deleted, just removed from public view.

You can surely see though that if someone's action negatively impacts someone else's business by you publicly posting a link to their site, it doesn't really matter if you're talking about seo hacks or strategies you're trying to learn.

You can't expect other people to help you, but not care about the same people you're expecting help from.

Not everyone knows ways to reverse engineer the success of a website.
Not everyone knows how to rock climb either, but some people do, and the way they learnt was by putting effort into their craft. But you know what would happen if someone was trying to learn to rock climb and they kept on pulling the legs of their instructors while they're half way up a cliff??

The instructor would tell them to piss off next time they asked for lessons, and when all the other instructors heard about the student they would blank them as well.

If you think I trying to say blackhat seo is stealing, then you have got my point entirely wrong.
If we're talking about blackhat SEO on a blackhat SEO forum, and you say "You are stealing other people's work and expecting decency ?", I'm going to put 2 and 2 together. What and/or who were you saying is stealing other peoples' work then?

This is like only that owner of site has copyright to use that mechanism to start that site.
No mate. It's not saying only the owner can use a method at all. It's saying that if you contribute to exposing a member's website, that is bad. But if you privately research how their website is working and copy that without exposing their site, that's not bad.

Surely you guys can't be that lazy that you expect everyone that is making money to have to publicly explain a step-by-step guide on how to do what they're doing to make that money?

If you're LUCKY enough to stumble across a well made site that is cranking traffic, why not put some effort into researching it.

If you don't know how to reverse engineer a method/strategy, why not put some effort into typing "how to reverse engineer a strategy" into a search engine and get results like https://contentmarketinginstitute.com/2012/11/reverse-engineer-content-strategy/ and https://ignitevisibility.com/reverse-engineer-competitors-ppc-strategy/

FFS how hard is it?

That's not what I said, at all.

Here is what I said:
Only thing I can think of, is some sort of limitation or prompt or something, prior to BHW allowing external URLs to be published.
This can be done with a few lines of code.

a sticky thread with this rule
Unfortunately, not everyone reads the rules around here. Should people leave their websites vulnerable to faith that everyone reads and complies with the rules?

This is true, but maybe in some of them will start to read those rules!

Yeah? Well FYI this happens in every industry. Look at Tesla for example. Started producing electric cars, now everybody is making electric cars.

You want to bring 10mil traffic and make nobody notice? Go live in a forest or suck it up and accept competition.

What are you talking about? Why is it so complicated to understand this concept - there's no problem with competition, there is a problem with people exposing other peoples' websites publicly.
