Hello Guys,
From last 3 months, I am on a content rampage, Publishing 2k+ words article every 3 days from myself.

But upon inspection in Ahref, I found that Google is picking up very very few keywords from my articles.

Contents are good with detailed review with images, videos and proper On-Page SEO.

I have no idea why this is happening.

For same topic google is picking up tons of keywords from my competitor, but little to no keywords from my url. Why so .

This is my competitor stat from a topic

One of my other URL, The post was published on 10th January with 2.5k words, After 50 days here are its stats

Can anyone help and know why this is happening.

To be honest, Google is a BITCH

What you should do is to go deep into your competitor page and compare it to yours and see where he outrank you and what you should focus on is, the content length, how many backlinks he has for that specific page and what type of links, what anchors he is using for that specific page, and then compare it to yours and you will have your answer for sure + his site have DR & UR is a bit high so definitely he got some good links pointing to his site!

If you haven't noticed already, it is the new Google update's effect. New sites won't now see instant keywords that Google has detected while crawling your articles, I have been experiencing this lately. I posted around 10+ quality content in my web2.0 and it still is not displaying any keywords in GSC.

Yes his backlink profile is quite good. Most of his links are from premium expired domain. What the competitor is doing is he gets good expired domain ---> Point it to a page (url) on his money site which does not exists (example - abc.com/sfuewfu/) and all non existing 404 pages are redirected to homepage.

Expired Domain ---> Moneysite.com/non-existing-page/ (404 error to homepage) ---- > moneysite.com

I don't have any problem with my competitor TBH let him do whatever he does , but why Google is not picking up keywords from my site is making me feel sick.

BTW thanks for your suggestion I will look deeply at there site and try to mimic them.

Do a seo audit and then see what’s causing this issue

Can you elaborate it a bit, Can you point me to a link for more info. Cause as I said my ON-Page SEO is up to the point.
