Youtube checks if the video has robot voice or real voice. Uploading mute video doesn't help. So why would Youtube approve watch time requirement for mute video?

this is my same doubt. won't video without sound have lower chance for being accepted? becoz characteristics of that video like mute sound reduces its quality by great margin. i dont think people would even want to watch such videos, neither would youtube want such a video on their platform to benefit off advertising

Not all the videos on the channel are mute, just these two

but if these 2 videos have the most watchtime the staff will check that won't they? and also why does the video have to be mute i still don't understand

So it's like luck. The staff either don't check if the user's video has sound or not and approve it for watch time requirement. Or they check the video and say it's not compliance with YTPP and doesn't approve it for watch time requirement.

The Rav views makes the video pop up behind advert if there was sound people would think where's the sound coming from? If it's muted people wouldn't know and the video would play all the way through.
Wait until you can't put food on the table!!

I have about 200 photographs from my past trip to an European destination ( country wide personally taken photos via iPh ). Can I create a video using these pictures and mix with my voice over commentary about the scene / monument etc on those photographs what that picture is about, some history about the building or attraction on that photo etc etc? Will such a video when uploaded on my channel attract viewers and eventually would YT allow monetisation request on this video? Any suggestions and advises are welcome pls. Thanks.

1. What good does it do? Once it is all setup you lose all the viewers and I guess the advertisement goes out the window as well?
2..So how you get your $200 bucks back?
