News are out of control guys. All my family lives in Milan and a close friend of mine, working in the hospital, got the virus last week.

He was perfectly fine in 3 days, without any treatment. He was not even feeling that bad, just a normal flu.

All the died people were very old in Italy and with other existing medical conditions. No need to panic.

Those "only" 2% are about 20 times higher fatality rate than the seasonal flu (about 0.1%). Plus the methodology of calculating the rate as of now is flawed as mentioned later in the thread. The true fatality rate will probably come out at about 10%. Coupled with the high contagious rate of this virus and the state of pandemic it evidently is going to is a devastating figure.

With many virus's, supposedly including coronavirus, you can be a carrier and not have many, or no symptoms due to an innate resistance of some sort, but still be able to pass it on to other people who -will- have symptoms.

No. 60% of the people wouldn't even notice that they had it. And even if the virus is getting you bad - if you're young and in good shape 99.98% chance you'll survive.

Again. Dying is not the worse part of this virus. It's the impact it has on the economy and our capacity to be productive.
 
What statistics they have are flawed. Due to not nearly enough test kits. Also of those who are recovered they can sometimes test positive again. Kind of like when you get sick and feel all better, but still have a little cough.

WHO upgrades risk level to 'very high'
The WHO has upgraded the global risk from the coronavirus to "very high", saying the continued increase in cases and countries affected was "clearly of concern".
 
The media is going crazy about it here, the virus is killing the stock market, lots of ppl losing lots of money, on the other hand, stocks like Netflix and pretty much all that requires ppl to stay home are doing good
