proxy firewall and firefox?

when i use proxy firewall and check my IP with whatismyip on FF, the ip shown is my real IP, even when im connected to a 'good' proxy, ive tried switching proxies and the ip doesnt change. Am i doing something wrong or do i need to configue anything?

You're doing something wrong ( or maybe you have the whatsmyip page cached in FF). Make sure you hold the shift key down when you click on the relaod button for that, and if that doesn't work, how have you configured the proxy in FF?

I worked it out. Im on vista and needed to run proxy firewall as an admin, Vista was not letting it connect to anything. Working fine now. Thanks for the reply.
