What I really dont get - I was watching some watch mojo vids - they usually contain quite a long shots from copyrighted movies - it doesnt matter? They will not get shot down? I know they have their own voice over, but still I thought such videos have no chance! Suppose they dont have licence for those movies, do they?

So it depends on the CPM. About 80k view per day for me though.

Haha, im a serious guy..

I think i mentioned this before, but i once offered this YouTube JV to someone. We were talking on skype for a good 30 minutes before all of a sudden he had to go. I even mentioned that the goal was to hit 30k/ month prior to him leaving right in the middle of the conversation. Now i know life happens but honestly, what he "had" to do- was it so much more important than making 30k a month? He got back to me 24 hours later. I told him I didn't wanna work with him anymore.

People probably see my thread and probably have disbeliefs that there's no way im gonna make 30k/ month off of youtube- they re wrong.

Once I hit 30k/ I want to JV with another SERIOUS person only. A person who is as hungry, determined, and has the same work ethics as me.

1. Dont reinvent the wheel. Do what already works since what works has been proven to work!
2. Low subscriber count+ high # of views are gold mine videos that I look for. That's probably key.

What a last 10 days it's been!!! Im on track to break $3,000 for the month.

With that being said, I'm committing to posting 3 times a week while my partner is posting 4 times a week.

I think if my video had gone viral earlier this month, I wouldve been able to break 10k.

The Goals:
[x] Monetization enabled// Goal achieved by partnering with an individual.
[x] $100 per month // Goal achieved 2/15/20
[x] $1,000 per month// Goal achieved 2/23/20
[] $10,000 per month// In progress: reached 3k in February
[] $30,000 per month
[] Cover my parents' rent
[] Buy my brother a new iPad

The Plan:
Here's what im currently doing:

• Im only uploading a video every 3 videos a week while my partner uploads 4.
• Total videos uploaded since November: 20 videos
• Lowest viewed video: 81 views
• Highest viewed video: 940k views
• I have 1 script writer who is a machine ($0.015/word)
• I have 3 voiceover artists ($0.015/word)
• I have 6 video editors ($6/ minute)
• I have 1 project manager ($9/hour)
• Thumbnails+ SEO done by me

The goal for March is to also have THREE videos go viral. A viral video usually makes $3k a month, then afterwards a few $100s per month. When I get 3 videos to go viral, I should break the $10k mark.

The Overhead:
~Each video costs about $105 to make posting 3 times a week.
~I'm teaching my project manager how to work my business. I pay her $45 a week.

The Channel Statistics:
Channel was started on December 17, 2019
- Last 28 days: $2700 for revenue (but it only dates to February 25th)

As always, i want to make this post a bit more valuable to you guys:
DELEGATION/OUTSOURCING/ SYSTEMS: It's pretty key to running any business or agency. The only reason I continue doing thumbnails+ SEO myself is because I enjoy it. Im working tirelessly to hire more writers, voiceover artists, and video editors. Lately, I've been creating videos to teach my project manager how I run my channel and video creation agency. We've been on phone calls for the past 3 days at 1-2 hours at a time going step by step how my system works. CREATE SYSTEMS. My goal is to eventually be 95% hands off my agency or even 100% hands off so that it runs itself. Regarding my YouTube channels though, the goal is to be 90% hands off.

Don't be afraid to show someone the ropes. Taking control and starting your own business is one thing, but once you're generating revenue, come up with systems and learn to let someone else handle the business for you. That way, you can really wreak the benefits of money working for you to make you more money.

It is very interesting to read, thank you, but there is a question. Are you not afraid that your manager will steal your business and there will be a lot of competition? After all, he knows everything from beginning to end the whole chain of actions

It's human well-being though- people like to stay within their comfort zone and I imagine she's comfortable being paid to work as the project manager. She does not have any access to client deliveries but everything else she does. As long as I treat her as a team member and not as a worker; even if the per-say to happen where she would start her own channel or agency, there's more than enough room for other competitors to arise from.

There's gonna be a point where I have to learn how to trust other people in helping me run my business. That starts with trusting myself and my own systems.

Do you plan to expand and make 10+ channels already on other topics, on delegation? Why go in cycles on one channel if it goes well?
