Hi guys,

I'd like to show you a tool that can help with assessing keyword difficulty:
https://www.pulno.com/backlink-keyword-checker-view/

It shows backlinks that have exact/partial match with a keyword. For example there are:

75804 backlinks with anchor beginning with "shoes" which makes it pretty hard to rank for the keyword

2 backlinks with the anchor "dropshipping in india" which suggest it's easier to rank for that

It's still in beta - if you have any suggestions this thread would be great.

This keyword/anchor checker is available for free.

Nice mate. Can you explain a bit more about the features? Especially how to analyze keyword that have less competition to rank. Thanks

Pulno's database has data of nearly 100M domains with links. The way the backlink keyword checker works is that you can enter any keyword and we search through our database for links with anchor==keyword.

If you enter "SEO London" you get 1560 results. This means that there 1560 backlinks with anchor beginning with "SEO London". There are 1357 exact match anchors "SEO London". There are other anchors like "SEO London web design promotion google" or "SEO London UK".

You can set filters to exact match "SEO london", choose "most powerful" backlink, sort by linking domains. This way you'll get a list of domains that have the most backlinks with a specific anchor.

You can estimate the effort you need to put into link building. For example "SEO Glasgow" has 348 results with the #1 domain with 74 linking domains. This means that it will be a little bit easier to rank for "SEO Glasgow" than "SEO London".

The tool counts backlinks and linking domains without looking at the quality of backlinks. You need to look at other parameters like Domain Power, website optimization, and backlink anchor over-optimization.

We have a couple of ideas to make the tool better and simplify the process.
