Hi Everyone
does any knew how to get data source (extract data) from specific websites to make content such as this YT channel "Data Is Beautiful"....
thnx in advance

Dozens of similar channels have emerged. There must be something they're getting out of it. No?
Hmm well I suggest you contact an expert in YouTube. But I am pretty sure they often ban account these days due to copyright issues. Not uncommon to see posts about YouTube channel ban even here in BlackHatWorld.

You plan on ripping from r/dataisbeautiful? lol

I think its a fun niche... dont know where they get the data from though. Of course if you know where the information is its pretty easy to just scrape everything and create a report. But then you need to get this report and make a full video with it... looks like a bit of work

So many people voted that it's a good niche. I have checked at least 10 similar channels. NONE of them are monetized. Including channel mentioned by op. So it's good only when you know how to monetize it.

ok a quick search on SB shows at least 2 other channels other than his are monetizing.

I dunno if its a great niche.

It gets views.... lots of views.

But do we need another channel like that? How will you differentiate from the content that they do? What value do you add?

Perhaps find another niche that someone else isn't already doing.

Though I wouldn't worry about copyright if you're taking public data and turning presenting it in a video. Nothing illegal or bad about that.

Where exactly is such feature on Socialblade? Or You just looked at estimated earnings which are super inaccurate? Also do you see ads on their videos?

Data is just data. You can't copyright the data itself.

He does not create the videos. He plugs the data into the tools at Flourish and generates the data visualization there. Anyone can use these tools to create similar videos without violating copyright.

Downloading and reposting his videos would be a YouTube copyright strike.

His channel shows ads on his videos so I assume it means they are monetized.

Flourish is not the only place you can create data visualization. Just google "data visualization tools" and you will find many.

Like the guy above said, there is no copyright claims on the fucking data. Only if you steal from reddit to upload to yt.

There is a guy in the UK who creates websites about data. The owns a website that gives information about flooding in the UK (a bit of a hot topic lately) amongst many others - all data taken from the UK Government opwn source project.

He's not a millionaire, but he does pretty well out of it all and some of the sites are quite interesting.

the question is, where you can get this kind of data? like the exact month graph?
anyway, this is can be monetized and counted as unique content, since what you do is creative process to make something boring into fun to watch. youtube like it
