Help with my new website

Please I need your help: I have created a fitness website and wanna start publishing recipes and diets. The problem is that I don't have any recipe I just built the website for affiliate marketing

Is it okay to copy from other websites or my website won't be indexed if I copy that ?

Based on my experience from building ecommerce websites with product description fully copied from other websites - it will be somewhat indexed, but dont expect organic traffic or good ranking, because its duplicated content.Google ofcourse doesnt like it very much.

You are going to need other means of promotion to gain traffic to your site, media buying for example.

The correct way to do this would be to hire a writer to re-write recipes from other websites.

Not going to promote exact content writer tool iv used to rewrite\spun descriptions from some affiliate sites but i can say that those spuned posts was indexed 100%.Indexed yes but that doesnt help gaining organic traffic to my site, especialy these days Google can detect duplicated content from miles away.

Go to some yt channels and convert their videos into words

Copying work is definitely not the way to go. Hiring a writer in this should be pretty low cost.

Why dont you hire people to create unique receipes and diets and just build a proper website?

Good advice, just check if that physical recipe books arent already published online.This might be very good content source..Especialy old, rustic recipe books which are unlikely to be posted online.

Or add some words to describe the recipe, maybe a twist in the recipe and you've got original content.
