I think western countries will find a cure for it in a couple of months since it has spread in their country, someone mentioned it takes a month + to show by then there will be vaccines, just stay safe, if USA is infected i am pretty sure the brightest minds from around the world will be contacted to resolve the issue

I am in China at the moment and I think the situation is far worse. My guess is the number of dead people in China is at least three times more. China government blocking all independent journalists, all amateur videos etc., calling them "foreign spies" and arrest them. No joke. Truth is: Only they know whats going on and they will NEVER tell us or their population the truth, because there would be mayhem in here. They are protection themselves in the first place.

It would be easy to just fake the number of deaths...or to officially give the deaths a different reason. Trusting them is a no brainer for me. Not in a hundred years.

Just alone the fact almost all the countries flew there to take their citizens is reason enough to understand how serious the situation is.

About the biological weapon; Could be, but if yes, we will never know. In Wuhan is the only level 4 bio lab, where they are actually working on this kinda stuff. At the moment the people should think about how to get rid of this virus instead of figuring out what exactly happened.

The media is hyping it up too much. But at the same time, The Goverment are not transparent about this problem.

So it's hard to know who to trust about the news right now.

Let's take some precautions but don't need to worry too much about it.

Because you can't really do anything about this (Unless you can cut yourself off from the outside world until the virus is resolved.)

You still need to buy food, interact with other people, or even your family, and they could unintentionally transmit the virus to you or you to them.

So my point is: Don't worry too much about it!

Pretty much! I'm exactly of the same opinion, flu kills more people in the year anyway, as people who work from pc we can easily get lost in the daily media doom and gloom

Why did USA allow a plane with 60+ people in it, some known contaminated(??) to simply go normally and "self quarantine"?? They should've been forced into special quarantine quarters immediately.

The virus can hide for 30 to 40 days. Yes, you read that right. The longest period now is 27 days confirmed but they're obviously withholding information from us.

The way this thing spreads is insane.

Almost as if it was a bioweapon.

In fact a perfect bioweapon has 3 conditions:

1 - It does not show symptoms for a long time so it can infect as many people as possible

2 - It does not kill quickly so it can infect as many people as possible

3 - It contaminates via air, touch and indirectly since the virus lives outside the body for weeks.

This shit really does look like the perfect bioweapon.

I'm concerned because I'm asthmatic so my immune system is already compromised, but my country has only had 9 cases - 8 of which has been cured and one that is still in quarantine - so I'm not that worried about it... at the moment.

Covid-19 like any Flu does not survive in Tropical countries, as the weather gets warmer the virus is gone. Here in brazil we have 5 worse viruses: Dengue, Chikungunya, Zika, Malaria and Yellow Fever... Stop being a jerk and alerting people without a reason, plus we had a worse plague a couple of years ago called Black Death which is not the case.

I'm not concerned at all about Coronavirus. The only airport in my city is a private airport, the largest airplane they accept is like a Learjet. The closest interstate is 31 miles(50 KM away). I'm under 30, have never been a smoker or grew up in a city with bad air pollution and I have barely been around smokers even before 13 years ago when the smoking ban was enacted in the state I was living in at the time.
