What happens once they land on your page? You can track on hotjar with recordings/heat maps.

Maybe high bounce rate because site does not seem trustworthy.

Also can matter what you're optimizing for. In my experience, just optimizing for link clicks (unless it's a super targeted audience like a customer list or micro-niche) almost never converts

There can be a lot of reasons for this. You should take a look at your funnel and check where people are leaving.

Are they exiting as soon as they land on your landing page? Then it might be wrong targeting, a bad/irrelevant landing page, a bad offer.
Are they adding to cart but not buying? Might be the price that is too high.
Are they initiating checkout and don't end up purchasing? Might be your website that doesn't appear trustworthy.

As it's been said in previous posts, there are a lot of reasons why people might not want to purchase. Difficult to isolate one without looking at your website and funnel.

Could be so much. If you are looking to increase your ROI you should stick to the manual mate, look up in each phase of the funnel where are they getting stuck and improve from there.
