Anyone getting trouble with stormproxies ?

Hello,

I wonder if I'm the only one getting troubles with their proxies ?
Last year, I used to use them occasionally to scrap google (one request, 300 to 500 results with one google dork) and I didn't had any troubles. But since january or maybe december, since I'm using it rarely, I can't tell exactly when, I can't scrap anymore.
I know I needed to update the browser list from scrapbox but even then, couldn't scrap anything.

Anyone having the same problem ?

possible the proxy you rented is blocked black listed on google
let them no, ask for a replacement

They provide backconnect rotating proxies so it shouldn't be the issue.

For the others, I was afraid it was the same.. Anyone knows a good replacement ? Since I'm an occasional user, I don't want to spend to much in the service.

it wont hurt to speak to them to see if you can reach
a resulution

Their backconnect proxies? Maybe blocked by google, You can report to the seller, then the seller can replace the IPs in their pools.

I asked because i thought the proxy pool is shared by everyone, so thought that if others has an issue, it's an issue on their end. I was thinking that maybe, because of the google update, their pool was burned and refill would take time.

They replaced my gateway but still having issues

Same thing. Was working just fine, and suddenly stopped scraping Google.
I bought different rotating proxies from them and still the same.

Probably their pool of IPs are blacklisted or abused totally. However, most times it's good to buy Semi or Dedicated set of IPs.

Yep, same here and I know others. Didn't have too many issues until recently. A shame because service has been great.

Every case is different and it depends what proxies are you using, what gateway, location, what are settings in your scrapping software, what type of queries are you using, time out between queries, etc... Google is getting more and more strict with "spammy queries" like inurl and other queries that are 99% used to scrape sites for spamming. Google knows about it and puts high protection on them... so you need to experiment with a different setup and to find out what works.

If you use to spammy setup for scrapping any other proxy will behave the same as ours.

act of a MOD, its the act of a proxy seller like you
giving you a heads up people arnt happy and to deal with it

i do watch the proxie section, offer tips / advice
and when a complaint thread pops up, if im around
ill ping the person the thread is looking for so they
can resolve the issue. after all we all want the proxy section
to be clean / tidy and respected.
