I've contributed to this sort of thing on other forums but the only other forum I was part of prior to this one was an animation related forum so as you can imagine their setups were quite specific.

I have a couple of home setups , one of which is for browsing, conference calls and recordings which is the one below. The other I will take a picture of and post here when I get back to the other house, the other one is where I do most of my heavy lifting work from.

I use both desks in this photo ( always nice to have 2nd desk for a visiting partner/employee ), its not a shared home office.

Lets see yours!

good setup bro, i always wanted to have one like that.
i only have a laptop and another screen :(

To be honest I work with just a laptop and an additional monitor, its honestly no different when it comes to productivity. So cheer up mate.

cool, your computer always on 24hours with music? :)

Haha yeah its on 24/7 but not so much the music. Speakers produce good sound though.

bro...bt internet? I feel for you.

I feel for me too, have the best package and it still sucks.

I just have a gaming laptop and other few gaming equipments , my house isn't that big for some good monitors and stuff : (

My missus works for them and even she tells me NOPE and they apparently run off the same cables as Sky. Thank god good ol Branson does Fibre near me!

A simple set up;

  • The DELL XPS is my main work PC.
  • The Timer to practice the Pomodoro time management technique, I always have it on 32:02 .

i think A majority of users like me don't use mousepad though I can be wrong.
This is my personal preference and taste, I use all mouses on my table which is of sunmica sheet. It works flawlessly.
according to me, gone are the days when we used to use mousepad with ball type mouses lol

I really need to fix my setup.

I cracked my Macbook Pro and Applecare didn't cover it. Do I look like I'm gonna pay 500GBP for a screen fix? No. So I bought a monitor and a nice Corsair keyboard and mouse. Works a charm :P

Though I don't regret buying the Macbook, I realize that buying a PC would've been a better choice, so I'm going to start saving up on a custom build.

You've got an amazing setup! Really inspired me to fix my shit.
