TikTok live is very good (especially for non-IM, white-hat accounts). Appear to unlock at 1k followers usually but is sometime different for certain users. VERY HEAVILY MODERATED.

I am a good example of this. Struggling to get tiktok live options even after 70K+ followers.




Hashtags
They have very little bearing on success. Plenty of viral videos from new accounts with no hashtags and also viral videos with lots. In my experience, the actual hashtags have no effect but make your post seem a little more 'commercial' or 'tryhard' which make users less likely to watch. Personally, I would only use 1 or 2 hashtags. If you have had a different experience then let me know.

Actually I use different ones(1 our brand+1Niche related+ 2 video topic related), which is working fine for me.

I am explaining exactly what I do. May be this will help you to understand better.


I post lifestyle and dailylife of married couple video. If my video is related to husband and wife argument then I use #HusbandWifeFight/ #HusbandwifeVideo/ #HusbandWife

If video is funny then I use #HusbandWifeComedy / #HusbandWifeFun


While choosing hashtags I mostly use those hashtags which has less than 1M views so that my videos can rank among top 9 videos in these hashtags.. As my avg view is 20K-30K/video so it easily ranks on these low competitive hashtags.

For your first account, you don't want to upload 'just anything'.

Based on a lot of data collection & shared experience with other accounts/users, I believe there's a high probability that the first video an account uploads gets an increased 'reach'.

Meaning: the first video (or possible videoS) on a new account gets higher views. Therefore, it's important that you make the first video(s) really worth it.

Once that's going, you'd ideally get to a minimum of 3 videos each day.
Then work your way up to 5, possibly 7-8 and even higher (however, higher is not always doable because it requires more effort).

I agree with the first video boost. Quick question regarding this if you or anyone else can answer. Do you believe you only get one chance per profile, per device? Cause I set up a second account and put out a video and it didn't get no where near the boost my very first video got on my very first TikTok profile. Amazing work @Putt by the way. I don't think it's per device. I think it's per account. I have added additional accounts to the same account, without using a VPN or new device, and the initial posts still received boosts.
At the same time, I don't know if it's only the first post or the first multiple posts.

At the same time, there is no guaranteed 'large exposure'. Like, it makes sense that this is the case, however, other metrics still apply (when you posted, who it reached, luck -- yep it's factored in, if your video is shown to the wrong people as 'test group', it won't receive nearly as much engagement as when it's shown to a more receptive test group. TikTok is very much 'throw mud at the wall and see what sticks')

I actually ran multiple data experiments on this. Posting 10+ similar videos within an hour. Posting up to 20 similar videos in 24 hour. Using multiple accounts to check if I could replicate the results, etc.

Got a question that might seem dumb but....I see where people are buying views and all but doesn’t it hurt if you have views without likes? I thought that the ratio of likes to views meant something. Maybe I’m wrong but if someone could help on this, that would be great.

Easiest way I've done it so far is by using a clean device, removing the SIM-card and using a VPN on force-mode (so that when the VPN connection gets interrupted, you cannot connect to the internet)

Note: it also worked without a clean device in most cases, but not always. I've duplicated this over 10x so far.

Of course, most 'buy views' services are of horrible and low quality.. so it makes sense if all random accounts that seem auto-generated start viewing your videos after it just being uploaded that the system will flag it.

My advice? Don't do it. The potential cost/risk isn't worth the potential upside.

I'm sorry, I'm not able to completely follow your process. On my case, I'm actually using the internet data plan from my sim card. So the moment I remove the sim from my phone, I will lose my internet connection.

Here's what I'm planning to do, please advise me if I should do it or not.

1. Use 1st phone mainly for internet connection, I'll simply enable the mobile hotspot on this one.
2. 2nd phone will connect to the 1st phone through WiFi hotspot for internet.
3. On my 2nd phone, I'll be using Fake Gps app to spoof my location. I will also use a vpn to set my IP in US.
4. On my 2nd phone, I will download tiktok app from playstore and register an account.

With this process, would I be able to create a tiktok account which will be based in US?

Thanks for this heads up as well. As I was reading this thread, I got the understanding that the first video matters a lot. It should have good interaction for tiktok's system to even show it to a broader audience, so my 1st idea was to boost it with smm services.

This *might* work, however, I think it has a lot of risk of 'backfiring'. Put it this way, the system only needs to detect you 'doing something shady' ONE time for it to flag you. Once flagged, you're flagged.

If you don't remove the sim-card, you'd need a location spoofer.

I'm on the 2nd phone now. I replaced the gmail for playstore with one that has a US location under settings.

I enabled my location spoofer with US and VPN is also set to US. I then installed tiktok but it's still showing "For You" videos coming from my country upon opening the app. Maybe the tiktok app is detecting the sim card from the phone?

I'll give this another try. This time, I'll remove the sim card. Also, I'll check for an app that can change my phone's IMEI. Since I installed the app before, maybe they have stored it in their systems?
