How do you find map traffic compared to organic? I had a site number 1 for organic, it dropped out but was placed top in the map pack (not present before) and the traffic is pitiful in comparison. I have dropped trying to get in the map pack now and putting all effort into organic...

actually I still have problem getting organic traffic, is dancing again perhaps due to Google recently stuff. Like few days back can get at least 300 organic traffic per day but recently only just 200 etc.
How you boast for organic traffic?

Organic and Maps are two completely different things. Note that reviews play a small part in overall ranking however particular words in the reviews make a difference. I mention this because you said you have reviews etc. With maps you really need to take a look at a few things.
1. Proximity to the user
2. Traffic to GMB
3. Brand searches compared to your rivals
4. Citations but to a lesser degree than the other 3
Take a look at these factors and you will note a increase in ranking.

Review with the keyword you are targeting with + Questions on your GMB with same keyword
Also .. try this
GMB name :
Name of your business + title of your url that is ranking for that keyword
Website : url which is ranking for that keyword you want.
