My main aim on youtube is to make, i was amazed it has also been listed under making money category here in bhw. Am going to use pixbay videos, add texts and do a voice over with my real voice. Is it possible to monetize this type of videos,i mean will i get issues using pixabay videos?

Still not original contents, youtube rarely monetizes such channels, lately it has become much more strict. I would not waste time on that, even because pixbay contents you pick may have been picked by others to create videos and so it would be redundant for viewers. You can buy original videos (basically ask someone to shoot original ones) and use them, in that way it would be original contents and 100% monetizable.

I have seen a couple of channels doing it, educationionla channels mostly and there are adds on their videos. How do they do it?

It could be that they got monetization before the recent youtube rules, or maybe they also have some original videos, it's quite random. Fact is that youtube prioritize 100% original contents for monetization, this means that they can also approve you, but it would require much more time and you'll never know (since they don't tell in how much time your channel would be monetized after you request a review)

Yes, Op you can do that If you are using copyright-free images and video clips. If you are good at researching topics, you can easily create a good video.
