I hate woocommerce

There is so much garbage in it. Yeah, you get lured by the promise of low charges and nothing in a monthly subscription, but it is too much of a hassle. I have used Shopify. Yeah, it is costly with all those plugins but it's simple to use and customize. Nothing can beat that there.

Please share your experience so I know I'm not alone

That's how most things are. Shopify is good for small stores I guess. But if you're selling a considerable number of products, those commissions really add up. WooCommerce is complex, yes, but you can customize it however you want if you know exactly what you're doing.

I use woocommerce for 5 years now. No problems after setup. If you know Wordpress you know woocommerce. What is the hastle?

Been using wordpress and woocommerce for more than 5 years. So far so good. Free and easy.
I mean..is not like we have much choices here lol

Divi and WooCommerce for me are perfect, especially after it got best customization opportunities.
I used shopify for 2 years and got tired of constantly paying for all these plugins and tweaks

Been using shopify for 4 years and never had a problem. Stores I created helped me make over a million in revenue. What's the point in using woocom when shopify itself is enough for you+ it's really user-friendly+ the support is WORLD-CLASS?

1. It says what they have replied to my query. This is the second time I contacted them after waiting for 42 hrs.
2. Because I'm trying to cope up with woo for a week and it's shitty at best.

That's not the case- basically, your caption doesn't match the email. The "not being able to create a store" might be a problem, but the email says that the support team is working on helping you. That's what they do. Help everyone without fail- which is why I love and prefer shopify.

I had a store with Shopify for over 2 years because of the mindset that it is easy to set up. I spent approximately $800 over that period.

For the past 1 year, I rebuilt the store with Woocommerce and that was the best decision I have ever made. Cheap with the ability to customise almost everything with a bit of PHP knowledge give you an edge.

I much prefer woo over Shopify. With a bit of php code anything is possible.

Shopify is great, but personally I'd take woocommerce any day. It's definitely more complex and takes some time to learn, but as far as customizations, nothing beats wordpress/woo imo.

Time of self hosted apps is gone, time of SaaS has come. Unfortunately most SaaS including Shopify is still too expensive..

I use Woocommerce because it is more versatile and you have complete control over everything from design to payment.

Shopify is faster and easier to get going, sure.

Customization is the key. If you need custom made shop woocommerce is the way to go.​

At first woo commerce can be a pain in the ass to learn, but once everything is set up it's pretty smooth. Made a divi / woo site and between the two, it wasn't too bad.
