Do Google Search Mobile Users Convert?

I was wondering if mobile users from Google search actually purchase something?
Or they are mostly window shoppers?

I am running a campaign on adwords. Most of the users are from mobile. I am not getting any conversions, not even "add to cart".

Anyone who have a store please share your experiences.

Yes, they do, but usually not as well as desktop. The difference is often from 1:1 up to 1:5. Highly depends on your product, price point, and site quality.

Did you get any desktop conversion?

How well did you define the rest of the campaign? (keywords, negatives, message match, location, etc.)

My conversion tracking is not tracking all the conversions. I just started my store.

It recorded 4 conversions. 3 was on Computer and 1 was mobile. Based on this minuscule data, I removed mobile users completely but I am still not sure.

Keywords are phrase match

Didn't add any negative keyword

I am targeting one particular location

Personally, I almost never exclude mobile traffic completely. I have to be a real disaster for me to do so.

In your case (and only if it makes sense for your business) I'd try mobile with:
- age group/gender adjustments
- topics/audiences
- ensure that you are targeting "people who are in the location" (and not interested)
All of the above actually applies to desktop traffic as well.

Also, instead of completely removing it, try running it with max cpc limits as Kenas said. If the campaign is converting 1:3 (mobile:desktop), then in theory, bidding 3 times less on mobile will bring you conversions at the same cost.

Regardless, and it entirely depends on your budget, but I wouldn't block any traffic segment at this point. It takes 10's of conversions to make data-driven decisions with adwords.

you definitely want to keep mobile ads depending on what your selling, if its less than $100
