Why is there no BHW App?

I’ve recently become very active on BHW and found myself more than once just naturally looking for the non existent BHW app on my phone menu for some reason before having to go on the browsers.

I would just like to receive push notifications straight to my phone which I could slide to open so that I could instantly reply to a message for example.

So my question is , is there an app already being developed? Has it been developed before and abandoned for certain reasons? Or has this simply just never come about as a viable idea before?

Well that’s precisely my point. Some of them are to do with business and I’d prefer to get the process started on some things sooner than later and I would imagine would prefer this even more in the coming future.

The mobile web version is perfectly fine there are just certain things that could never be possible that I think could greatly benefit BHW and it’s userbase, I mean push notifications alone would probably increase activity by more than 10% in perpetuity.

This is not “ just “ a forum but a marketplace and a place to conduct business and trades, these things would heavily benefit from options that can only be developed within an app aside from my previous point in regards to an increase in activity it would seem productivity would increase too.

Good question - moved to forum suggestions and feedback.
Answer -
We don't have an app and therefore no APK files - the site is dynamic.
If you have suggestions for features that we're not currently covering here please let us know in Forum Suggestions and Feedback section and we'll see if it's something we can add in the future if there is enough demand.

Finally, I'd not connect to something that isn't an official BHW app we have no control over what they may serve.

Currently, there is no plan to develop an app, for the sake of having one.
If you have a feature that you can't find on the current site that would require us to develop an app we'll look at adding it to the plan.
Currently, as the site is dynamic, you have more access on the browser than you'd have on an app.

The old Topify app was removed back in 2015 as the new BHW is dynamic.

The new BHW platform (currently being beta tested with 500+ Jr. VIP's) is dynamic so no app will be required.

We will release the beta to all those that are interested in a pre release review soon once we've corrected any issues brought up by the current reviewers.
