Hi, I was talking to a coder about a spotify bot and everything was going good until I asked if I could get in legal trouble for using the bot ... Then I got no reply, which makes me guess that it can probably get me jail time if I use a spotify bot or something. Am I overthinking it? Also, is there a way around this if it's true? Is there a way to just inflate your songs numbers without actually getting paid or scamming or doing anything illegal?

Dont worry, its the same as buying yt views. Nobody cares. All they can do is not pay you.

Thread moved to a more suitable sub forum, so you might get more replies in here.

Yes it's fraud unless you don't earn money from the plays you get, but nothing will happend so don't worry.

Don't worry, you won't be in jail, but anyway you should be attentive to your "promotion". I mean, you can use some services, but you should know that your promotion has to look as organically grown. I mean, be better if you won't order a lot of plays on track which has only 100-200 plays and 3-6 save until now. Just increase the number of plays/followers gradually.

They will just take down the track(s) that they suspect are generating fake plays.

Think about what you are doing. Basically you are committing fraud, if somebody catches you or even cares is something else
