1 year old website with good ranking

I started this project one year ago as an experiment. My plan was to write some articles, rank and then make money with affiliate. To be honest, I hate writing and I’m not good at it. Once I paid someone to write an article for me and that’s all in the website.

However, this article got ranked in the first page of Google. Traffic is about 100 people per month. If I were about to flip this website, what should I improve? Thanks!

Depends how many words you got there and the quality of them, you can take for it 100-500 USD.

Really depends on what you want to sell the site for.
Is the site making any money now? If not then that would be the first thing to do is gets some ads up.
More articles and more traffic.

Now there can't be a definite answer to such questions until and unless more details are revealed.
In your case, what niche is it? What kind of domain is it? What kind of article is it? Is it a review/pitch/information? Can the product be related to a product? Are there ads in the market related to the article which people would click in they're shown? For what keyword does the article rank? How long has the article been ranking for that keyword? Have you monetized the website yet? If not, why? If yes, how much are you currently making from it? Multiply that by a few times and that should be the lowest possible price you can ask for.

When you answer all these questions, you will realize you knew the answer already.

Thank you so much for the replies guys. I guess I'll be improving the site more and add more value to it. I just didn't have time to invest in it. The niche is in health & beauty and my idea was to make it an affiliate store. All the traffic comes from US and AU it has been wasted for 1 year. Thanks again and I will surely get back to working on it.

Write 10 more articles, and do it every month for a year. Then look at your traffic!

Traffic is the hard part, monetizing it should be easy after that.

Lol exactly. You should try to start with ranking more keywords. Build it into an authority. Be ready to invest 1 year time at least.
