[GUIDE] How to Start Earning with Web Design

I am not sure where you are from but your docx looks like a digital receipt. Did you start a company for that? Or are you doing that under the hand? How do you react when people want to have a legit receipt?

I don't have a company yet, I am working in a company and this privately, and everything is under the hand. I think people used to not receive a receipt for something like this here, especially if they know that I don't have a company.

1) I would suggest you buy a premium at codecademy.com (no affiliate), because that's the place I learned the most things. It' enough to figure out how everything works, and you will learn more by working on projects. You cannot learn everything in courses. For courses try to search on Google and YT and you will get some ideas. Can't help you with that more, sorry.

2) That's up to you what sites you will be building. How to know who is your client? I am not sure you asked me the right question.

3) Nope, it's not possible to start in one month. Learn and work on your project at least 3-6 months to develop some skills, and after that try looking for clients. I got my client after a year...

Thanks mate!

I don't recommend Fiver, because there is a lot of guys offering sites for $50. Do you want to work for $50/site? If yes, then go, but if you want to earn more money then look for them by your self. That's my honest opinion, because I wanted to start on Fiverr and I saw how things are working there.
I tried on Facebook, though quite to be honest I didn't send my website portfolio, I sent like 70-80messages to business, only one responded and he said he was already working on a site.

As I said, Facebook is very hard for finding a client. Try on Instagram and look at Google for some businesses and see if they have a site, does that site needs a redesign and so on...

How long did it take you to get your first customer this way?

How long did it take you to get your first customer this way?

Let's say if I send at least 20 messages over Instagram (note: I will first check deeply that account/customer) I will get 1 lead. This is not accurate because I cannot remember, but I know it is possible.

To the - Point Article but do we charge them hosting monthly or yearly and free our headache

Definitely yearly and give them a free domain for the first year. A nice trick to get them thinks they will get something free.

It's web design and development. I don't charge that much for just installation of WordPress and theme from Themeforest. It's not that simple. I make a design or my girlfriend because she is a web designer and I make website from that design.

How is going your web disign journey now? I think web development is saturated now. Everybody can make website, especially with CMS like wordpress+ theme and Wix. There are a lot of tech course on youtube, so that everybody can learn how to make website. It's a big competition.
I see big cons in the web freelancing. You must be always present on upwork to monitor offers and make offers. Respond quickly and complete offer very quickly.

That's true, and I couldn't agree more with you. That's the reason why I am working mostly in my country. It's easier for me to get clients and to communicate with them, to make a deal and to finish the project. It's really hard these days to get clients on Upwork or any other freelance website. That's why I am recommending to everyone who wants to work this job to work it in your country/town - less competition and you will always get new clients when words get spread about you.
