Hello folks. I am KingRamzo, a former lawyer who is fed up with dealing with criminals, ball busting clients, corrupt justice and crazyness. I quit my job months ago on medical advice, and I have means to live for a long couple of years without working . So I am investigating in diverse forms of online pasive earning,
I am also a sociologist, and my idea ( not so original) is to start a blog (maybe politically incorrect) .The main plan is to use wordpress, because I found it to be the easiest way to start. The good part, is that I have time and resources for my project.
The problem is that my knowledge of SEO, blogging and online business in general is nearly null.
I do not want to be the needy, annoying newbie, so I will gladly listed to you , and of course read the forum.....

But you shall hear some questions soon ! Of course, I am not a native english speaker.

Hey.

I am based in southern south america, and my law practice lasted ten years in total. Graduated in my mid 20's. Now im in my mid 30's.

The fact is, I always liked the entreprenour mindset....in fact in a distant past I had started my law business with a creepy studio that worked as an office, room, and kitchen. Better Call Saul Style.The difference, is that in real life, it is not that funny when you are sleeping and crazy people calls you at 4 am for legal advice... Anyways...I have a lot of bizarre stories for my grandkids.

As you've already chosen the niche, you should do keyword research before starting a blog. There are many kw research services here on BHW. Write at least 2-3 articles a week. If the keywords are good, you should start seeing considerable traffic within 3 months.

BHW is a great way to have your SEO questions answered and validate your assumptions. It is a forum, not a so called "how-to" website that shows you the steps from A-Z. I suggest to compliment your time on BHW with other websites that provide more how-to steps. couple of suggestions:

Corrupt judicial system is a bigger issue in India. There is no justice and endless delay in verdicts. It is pain in the ass and due to this lots of people just don't want to face it in the first place. It is weird to see a lawyer from US feels the same and want to get rid of it.

Thank you for all your input pals ! The good part, is that this post acts like a notepad to take notes and learn. One day of being here, and I have some good recommendations of pluggins and alternative sites.
The currency of my country dropped to something like 1/4 of it previous value. So, I imagine my goals in USD are not that impossible to get.
Because I am single, and debt free, I could live with 1000 dollars montlhly here. Confortably. It may be possible.
I know there is no magic to make money online, but many of you succeed and have knowledge .

Choose one thing and do it well. Basically, become the expert in it. You can choose to become a writer (that's fast cash, but to scale up you need to find other writers), you can become good at link building and sell your services, you can become good at social media and again sell your services. These are three things that I can see you can develop as of tomorrow.

You can choose to become a writer (that's fast cash, but to scale up you need to find other writers), you can become good at link building and sell your services, you can become good at social media and again sell your services. These are three things that I can see you can develop as of tomorrow.

Thanks. I like to write. In fact, I have some essays, papers, and books written in my academic background in the past. I could reuse some of my material.

I will make a post soon, asking my doubts about ways to monetize my future blog.

Many people think that being a lawyer is like a goldmine. Sometimes it could be (depending where are you and what you do), but the toll on the mind and the body is big.
In my third world country, lawyers make more than the average, but are not that well off in general . Many of them are middle class, like me. In fact, for example an old trucker with seniority (no disrespect ) in his work, may earn more than a junior lawyer fresh from law school.
