Good question.
Upvotes can be done as many as you want. Since there is reddit security - not all upvotes gets counted ot sticks but you need plenty number of accounts in order to achieve good number of upvotes in short time. They too has IP restriction as well.

So, finally the answer will be how YOU will use the program.

Can you add a feature where the bot will check the PMs and if there is a new PM (that is NOT a reply to a previous message or a comment to a post) then reply to it with a specified message? Would be useful only if it would repeat the task every 5 minutes.

PM feature is not available yet but we are adding some more features. I have noted this feature request and will let you know here when is in production.
I am not sure if you are an already customer of hours - if yes then you will receive an email about it as soon as it is in production.
