About traffic and Countries I live in...

So let's just say that I have a niche site with 90% of my 1 million monthly traffic coming from Tier 1 countries, but then I live in a shitty tier 3 country. While another person who operates an exact same niche site with similar stats with mine (90% of his 1 million monthly traffic coming from Tier 1 countries) are living in a tier 1 country. Does the difference in where we live affecting our ads earning? (since we have both similar stats, with same niche)
