TikTok Geo-Targeting solution?

Hello everyone, hope you are doing well,

I'm wondering, has any1 found a cost-effective & easy way to avoid Tik Tok geotargeting content?

I've tried with VPNs and proxies but haven't had much success. I have a friend who bought a physical SIM card from the US and used it to open the account + he also used a VPN and it seems to be working.

My question is, is there some other faster and easier way to avoid this and change the country where the content gets distributed?

It seems to be very difficult. Some people are getting shadowbanned(0 views) after using VPN and trying to appear in USA, etc. :/

Hey man. Do you have any idea where your friend bought his sim card? I'm looking to get one aswell.

There used to be some tools around to spoof geo locations. Maybe ask one of the TikTok bot supplier companies.

This worked for Pokemon Go already.

I've tried geo location spoofing and it doesn't really work for TikTok.

Still getting localized videos and my content is being pushed mostly in my geo-location.

That's pretty obvious that I can do that. It's too much of a hassle especially if you want to do this at scale, since this is a TikTok section and BH forum, and it seems there are a lot of people doing TikTok, I've asked if some1 found a different solution since I haven't seen anyone talking about geo-targeting problem and IMO it's a BIG problem with TikTok.

Dunno what's your point exactly with your post!?
 
This is a big problem for many people who are out of the US but want to target audience from over there. Sucks.

They're getting your location from the SIM card in your phone and not from your internet IP or geo location.
Open tik tok app from an android emulator and you will see you will be getting US content no mater what country your IP is.
I haven't try this but if you have an extra phone you can give it a try, take out any sim card from the phone, factory reset the phone, connect phone to wifi network, install tiktok app

Yeah, I know that they use SIM card to get the location but getting US SIM is to much hassle for me.

I will try that for sure, haven't thought about that actually. Do you think I should use some spoofer and/ or proxy/ VPN along with that?

I tried this multiple times, it doesn't seem to work well. I'm pretty sure tiktok detects that it's being used on an emulator.
 
Remove sim card from your phone and connect via VPN
