Recoviering my Instagram account?

Hello.
I was selling my instagram account and i have been scammed. I know it was my fault because I gave the account details first. The buyer somehow managed to change the email address. When I try to recover my account and click “forgot password” , the message is sent to his email, not mine. I have access to the OG email.
Is there a way to recover my account? (Like report that my account was hacked and get it back?)

I was able get an account back by putting the old email adress after clicking forgot password and it sent the recovery link to the old email.
I dont know if this works now too, let me know if it works

It sends the recovery link to the new email which the buyer changed.

Can you tell me your email? I maybe be able to get a revovery link on that email, i am not asking for password or anything, just email adress

I cannot PM you since I do not have enough posts. I don’t want to share my email here. I have tried putting the email address when I click “forgot password” but it says “No users found”

Oh I see, did you got an email for the confirmation of email change or anything?

Yes, I have received a message that the email address was changed. But when I click “Secure my account” I am getting this message.
“Sorry this page isn’t available”

Thats wierd, you can reverse the change from that email
Maybe try opening that email usimg instagram app using phone

Are you still logged in on any device with it? you might still be able to change the info

Also was it connected to any of your facebook accounts?

I think I have a way out,but before we proceed you should able to proof to me if you are the original owner of the account thanks.

It will work. Open your email account in chrome (mobile) > open email and click on secure my account > it will redirect you to instagram app > instagram check details from your app cashe and recover your account.
