Scraping instagram users for Follow/Unfollow

Hi guys, I'm trying to grow my personal account (but still in a niche) and I'll probably start with follow/unfollow manually. But, choosing a targeting and just following people is not going to be as effective, so I wanted to ask, what software could currently scrape users from targets for me (So I can include filters like engaged with an account, maximum 1k followers etc) and so that I can have that list sent / copied to my phone ?

Would really make things easier for me. Thanks!

(and if someone has some recommendations on the daily limits for follow/unfollow it would be pretty cool too. thanks)

I'd avoid automation for now. It's becoming the easiest way to get your account blocked or at risk. Seems to be a common theme for most. I'm currently sticking to manual growth. Time consuming, but currently, one of the only safe ways

If you're looking for manual f/u you can get a custom script to do that, if you want more features and automated jarvee or any bot could do that.

Be aware of the risks of automation tho, as each account has its own limits.

Do you have anywhere I can check out some of those custom scripts? Would that not just be automation if something is performing the actions for you?

It will but since it is custom it won't be as common as other software massively used by people around the world, therefore not so easy for IG to detect as a bot.

I am sorry, but this information is completely wrong and often stated. The problem here is you are getting someone who doesn't know the IG botting domain so will knock something together quickly (as is the case for custom work, quicker dev time = greater profit) or they will pull something off github (there goes your stated plus point).

The code will not be able to handle edge cases as the dev didn't experience any. There will not be advanced checks as they will not know them. They will not know the tricks IG uses.

This can be mitagated somewhat if the dev does know the domain, but how do they know the domain? The only way is to be working with, writing bots for a extended time period, so again, there goes your stated plus point.

So, if you only want to SEARCH and FILTER, which you will then use the results to manually follow, you have a few options.

Any of the main public bots can do this and to protect your account you can use a different account to your main account (although search and filtering should not be a problem in any bot within realistic numbers)

There exist various libraries / scripts on github which can do it, however, they will require some coding to pipe the components together to be an automated search+filter bot.

Yeah I understand the situation, as I mentioned I am not looking to automate the follow/unfollow process, I know it's almost impossible nowadays. I'm just looking for a software to just scrape targets for me to follow and compile them to a list. Do you know a software that can do that?

Jarvee can do that job for you but keep it in mind even if it is just for scrapping you're still in the risky side of botting. As someone has mentioned above use a second account with the bot to keep your main one safe.

Very true. But no one on purpose hires a bad worker, but bad workers are hired all the time. Unless you have some programming skills, knowing if someone is good is just a guess. And even so, they can be a skilled programmer and have no domain knowledge for the program (instagram / rules / limits / responses / errors / when to pause / when to block / when to shut down account to avoid bans).

It is not as simple as saying "get a custom bot made" and certainly is no guarantee to the often mention "it will better as no footprints". Without mentioning the increased cost to dev / maintain / update and effort by you as you will be the tester / bug finder
