Can I use translated articles to rank?

Here is the thing:

I found a nice niche last month and decided to create a blog on it.

But the articles on the blog are all translated from different foreign websites.

I checked the articles through three plagiarism checkers- Grammarly (I also use this to proofread the articles), Copyscape, and 1text to ensure originality before publishing.

But the issue now is that the blog doesn't appear to be picking up on Google and no organic traffic for over a month.

So I would like to ask what's your experience with translated articles. Are they good or bad for ranking?

In fact there's a black hat technique doing the rounds on SERPs that involves mixing automatically translated languages in one article.

Some years ago webmaster even used reverse translating (en>es>en, etc…) to make original text in articles. But now google is more clever and he understand where is translates text.

There shouldn't be a problem, especially if you use a non-Google translator, and if you 'crunch' the translated content. Instead of one article, translate 4-5 and combine the key sentences and points from each into one article. That way you have unique content packed with useful info, and lengthy enough (1000-1500+ words) to be treated as more valuable by Google for ranking purposes.
