My TikTok Journey

just wanted to ask. I have started the Tiktok account a few days ago and the reach very very low, some people i know some people who created their tiktok account and got more than 1k followers and I am not able to gain 10 followers also even having much more good contents than others...
so what can be the reason behind it can someone let me know?

I love to use tiktok app. I found lots of informative and love videos. but I never use it to make a video. I will do it in the future.

Why was this thread reported? Just interested as it seems it's something I'm not caught up with

If you PM me your TikTok @, I'll tell you what you can do it improve. Generally, it's a tiny little tweak that makes an account boom.

First video 60k views other 4 videos 1-2k one 14k other 3-4 only a few views 5-6views it's my personal account and I made those videos.
What can be the problem? what is wrong with tik-tok

This is complete speculation but from what I've experienced, looks true: When you have a new account, TikTok batch releases your video to different audience segments to see if your video is good. When your video goes 'viral' and you gain followers, TikTok's algorithm understands your audience. When you upload new videos, the video is 'scored' against this audience. This means if you change your type of content or pickup an audience that isn't desirable, you will never have another video succeed. I know a few people who have essentially reset their accounts to get around this.

Have you changed your content?

I'd also be happy to have a look and help if you PM me or post your @.

in tik tok you can get viral only for your country audience ? any way to change that ?

Actually that's how good and easy TikTok organic reach is many are even getting 1 million followers from scratch in a month.
Although a new account on BHW and journey on the first day is indeed a red flag.

Totally legit my man! Updating thread with some screenshots, and anyone that wants me to msg them on TikTok to actually verify I can ;)

I mean I know that there are some pretty big claims and red flags about posts on this TIkTok forum but some of the claims are pretty realistic. I don't even think the bots are that good tbh. Organic growth is so strong and easy, what's the point in using a bot that doesn't really change anything. If there is anything worth selling around TikTok, it's probably white hat marketing and consultancy services.

Yep! That's exactly how you grow, just organically and get lucky. No need to use bots or viewbots etc for this, TikTok is very easily to go viral on.

What does FYU stand for again? :)

ROFL, was late at night my bad. #fyp

Just post good content, and get lucky with a viral one.

Again its not about TikTok. After seeing many of them gain huge following in short time, i'm not surprised nor doubtful about your stats.
Journey threads by new members are sort of a way to attract newbies to buy services and inflate post count which will help them to get Jr. VIP to start a BST.
You do you, you might have no such intention people might change their opinion later on. Your stats are good, Congrats.

You'll go viral first in your country
Usually but not always. I've had my first viral video be in the USA (I'm from the UK) and then have my ongoing audience as US with only a tiny percentage of UK. TikTok's algorithm will definitely try and push your content to your region but if another region 'likes' your content, it will identify them as your audience. I call that my 'us' account now.

I haven't considered the batch releasing to different audiences concept before but it makes a lot of sense and explains some trends I've seen. I'd say that idea or something very similar is almost certainly true.

Also, good luck OP!
