[Journey] $1k/Month with Youtube+Amazon

Hey guys,

In this thread I´ll keep track of my first Journey:

Goal:
--- > Reaching $1k/Month with Youtube + Amazon

I started my channel in November.
After some difficulties I managed to get the ball rolling and uploaded a handful of videos.
Currently I have 10 Videos uploaded.

The Method is simple:

1. Create product review/best of videos.
2. Send ppl. to amazon

Here´s the first month results:



I hope I can reach $1K/Month by the end of the year.
Current Month is already going better than last.
However my conversion rate is really low 1-2%...hope I can fix that.
3 of my Videos are ranking first page, giving me ~ 600 Views/day combined at the moment.

Honestly, I am impressed by your clicks after just a month. Maybe you could start an affiliate website in the meantime, and then link your videos to that site instead of directly to the product.

That just sounds like a lot of unnecessary extra work?
I don't think my copywriting will be more convincing than the Amazon product site

Or am I missing something here?

Also can you tell me a little about the niche your in? (totally ok if you don't want to, i wont steal your idea just looking to get an idea about how the reviewing niche works)

What I suggested is what I've done before. But your way works as well. My goal back then was to grow an authority site with multiple traffic sources

Since your strategy is working good, I also suggest to find another affiliate network, Amazon is a legal scam for affiliates, the commission % is a complete sh*t, you would need too many conversions to reach $1000 a month. There are way better affiliate program on the web. Btw nice work so far =)

Sure the commission % is bad, but the trust that amazon has + every1 alrdy has an amazon account makes up for it. Don´t see a better network atm.

I have a good workflow so it takes me 3-4 hours start to finish to create a video. Sometimes I split that into 2 days.
Currently doing VO myself but that´ll be one of the things I´ll outsource in the future.

Honestly Amazon is no platform for someone who does not have serious money to invest into it. In order to be successful with Amazon you have to throw a whole lot of money down the sink.

Yeh it depends what category your products are in. Commision ranges between 1,5-7%.

I have literally ZERO expenses with this method.

I get traffic on certain keywords e.g. best xyz product
