F*CKING Neighbors!!!

Another little idea for you.. Does your neighbours eat take aways? You could get a pay as you go phone (you need 2) ring up all the local take aways and book an order and have it delivered to them. In two weeks do the same thing again using the other phone, two weeks later do the same again using the first number.. after 3-4 attempts your neighbours will get blocked from ordering unless they come and collect.

Get a pair of sony wh-1000xm3 noise-canceling headphones.

Yeah and order it at the time they sleep.

Beat them with their own gun. Brutal, but working. If they don't give a fu*k about the noise they do and none of legal options working there is only a war methods which apply here.
You don't get it. OP has an issue with a particular neighbor, not an entire complex, she can't possibly want to create a problem with the others by playing loud music. Plus she is a female. I suppose, she lives alone (otherwise it shouldn't be her issue), what if the neighbors get violent? It's easy to stand up for yourself, if you're a (big and strong) man, not so easy, when you're alone as a female. You can't really play gangsta in front of those, who know, you're in fact not a gangsta, just a female living alone.

Sure, she can buy a sound system, subwoofer, but her neighbor can get one too, if don't already have one. It's a neverending battle. If she can't settle it in a civilized way by asking them, getting other neighbors involved or telling the landlord, this will stay an issue most probably.

You can annoy your neighbors many different creative ways, Google is full of tips. The issue is that most of those things work both ways and when your neighbors have an idgaf attitude, have all the time, because they aren't working and they're always at home, it's a losing game for you.

Creative, but it doesn't solve the original issue: neighbors being loud.

You bring my back some bad memories. When Ive been first time in London I was living in a house share.

Yes, house share.

I used to share kitchen and bathroom with some miserable people. Dirty, loud, no respect for the others and so on, whatever you will speak with them or complain, they will do more then that. That's how stupid brain works.

Just run from there buddy, they will affect your life.

It's a good life lesson but still...

Sorry for typos, I am on the phone.

Give them a present, and leave it infront of their doors.

Just go outside and take a walk or buy a headphone with noise canceling and do your stuff :rolleyes:

This situation sounds so familiar.

I had some trouble with my upstairs neighbors as well. Both unemployed, both addicted to drugs and true degenerates. Loud, fighting, destroying property, drug waste, everything. The whole block had issues with them, fortunately the landlord helped us out and told them, "if you don't change your living style, we are going to kick you both out". It helped a bit to be fair, both went into rehab and they are clean as far as I know. Hopefully the situation will improve even further. If not, I will move to a better place and better environment.

So my tip is, talk to your other neighbors, see how they feel about them. Plus the best tip is, talk to your landlord (if possible).

People are different, have different routines, different patterns, different quirks, event different sexual preferences! that's why it's hard to live completely peacefully in a building where live more people.

I used to engage more with neighbors but now I think if neighbors know less about you it's better.

Sounds familiar :D
Try to call a police, I believe they can fine them at least for something

Post a classified saying "House For Rent" and leave their contact number below. Make it look like it was set by them. Make sure your landlord sees the ad. He'll take the matter into his own hands.

If there are other neighbours who are also troubled by them - join forces and either speak to the annoying neighbour or send them a formal letter of complaint from everyone.
Contact the landlord and let them know about the annoyance.
Contact your local authority and report the noise as a health issue.

I don't know how some people find this a joke :(

There is probably no worse feeling in a civillised society than being made to feel like a prisoner in your own home and not being allowed to live and work comfortably if you work from home.

Unfortunately there is not much you can do if the noise is just general noise - not specific threats or harassment unless they do it early morning or late at night.

OP if it is illegal where you live you should send them a fake letter from the mailbox from an appropriate authority saying they are facing disciplinary consequences or an unlimited fine if they don't clean up their act. Make it look legit ;)

Maybe get a petition from local neighbours who also hate them to try and have them evicted if they are renting (which i'm guessing they are)

Don't confront them. These kinds of people are very good at turning situations on their head if they are.

Don't think anyone thinks it's funny. It sucks when you can't normally live or work in your own home, know this from somewhere. Hope your circumstances will change soon!

Three options-

1) Why don't you try to talk to the council or something like that? Like, report it as mental harassment to some legal auth or maybe talk to your landlord.

Or

2) Shift somewhere else.

Or

3) What are the gun/weapon laws in your country?

complain in your local government unit! you can invite other neighbor as well, that has same experience as you!
