Hello everyone, let's say you are trying to rank your homepage for "Massage [insert city here]", what more can you do than putting city + keyword in page title and H1?

I can't figure it out, except maybe something like "We offer the best massages in [insert city here].

I don't index landing pages.

I promote a landing page deal with a short URL link

when indexing something classed as a website.

you then use SEO optimization

Add 3,000 words of content about it and you should see a big difference. Also, build backlinks to it.

I don't think I can write that much content for this keyword.

The site is like a local business site which I'm trying to rank for Massage [city here]

Yeah, the keyword I'm trying to rank for is "Massage [city name here ] and I have an exact match domain, so I don't think it's a good idea to try to rank a separate page for that keyword.

That becomes a niche website not a landing page.
A landing page can't have 3,000 words of content?

Of course you can, just think about it. How does it work/How we operate/Types of massages/etc etc. You can write 3k words about almost everything, and yes, more content helps tremendously for ranking - I have first hand experience.

100 words: rank #70+
Added 3,500 words: Rank #17, just from the content alone

But hey, do what you want - I'm just answering your question :)

A week old page is tears when it comes to ranking. Not sure what business you have but having ONLY two articles 500 word each is literally nothing and won't bump you up the SERP ranking.

What KWs do you rank for? Is your niche competitive? By having a 3k word text on your landing can help start targeting more relevant long-tail KWs. Have you done KWs research before setting up your website?

P.S.
Well I have FAQs on my landing page but again most likely your business is different from mine so it's all up to what to write about on the LP.

i will try reedit, restructuring my site, try to meet the 3k requirement first and see how it goes for my site SERP
i believe on both of u, since u have exp and result from your prev works

Thanks for reply n sharing

if you need to target for local market , focus on Google My Business as well as proper optimization of site will help to improve your site
