What is the reason to delete tweets?

I see that bots have the options to tweet and delete the tweet after some hours. I was wondering what is the reason to do that?

useful if you mess up with the settings and and up posting 50 tweets in 50 minutes. You need to clean such a mess asap before everyone figures out, that a bot has posted all this junk.

A tweet has a life span. It gets most of the engagement in the first few hours of its lifetime, after that considerably less. So after some time, you can delete tweets to keep your account clean, if you post a lot and don't want to look like a spammer.

To keep it clean and to keep your tweet up on top they do it.But surely real people unfollow profile with such bot tweets so they are of no use(at least in my opinion).

Also if the engagement is really bad on some tweets you can delete them to raise your overall account's engagement score.
