How to promote email squeeze page on Reddit?

What is the easiest way? If I just promote my free ebook then I will get banned/downvoted. If I link to an article and have the email popup showing up when the user is leaving the site then the conversion rate would be really low.

That is great but I was thinking of how to promote it in niche subreddits.

Maybe try to write article about your ebook and include a link in it. It works really good on Reddit.
