Hello guys, greetings from Barcelona.
Found this forum almost by mistake while searching for something else but was inmediately hooked by how many opportunities it offers. I thought my skills and previous experience as an english / spanish translator may come in handy in a place like this. I even have a gig on fiverr but no luck yet
I studied chemistry which might seem totally unrelated to a translation job (and it is), but my co-workers are relatively old (45+) and their english isn't the best, so i have to deal with all kinds of paperwork in the lab (we run tests for other labs) and also calls and visits from international clients, so i translate stuff pretty much on a daily basis.
Also as you can guess by my nick i read a lot of sci-fi and fantasy books and i also began to write my own, we'll se how that goes
Looking forward to adding some value to this community and learning from you guys.
