Youtube Stopped counting Paid Views

So I was promoting my channel via Youtube ads. I got 330 subscribers and about 400 watch hrs.

2 Weeks ago, I checked my account. Subscribers are same but watch hrs only about 10.

That's demotivating.

Anyone else experienced the same?

Unfortuantely, YouTube doesn't count views from TrueView ad campaigns toward your valid public watch hours for monetization :/

Your views are still working so far. I haven't had a drop since.

Google doesn't count its own genuine traffic for monetization how awesome is that of Google

Yes, I was doing the same and had to stop wasting my money since Google stopped counting the views. Analytics shows hundreds of hours and the Monetization panel shows something stupid like 12

Same happened to me I had more thank 4k hours and next day when I woke up I had 120 hours. I contacted team YouTube via Twitter and after reviewing my channel they told me that paid views via Google Ads are not counted anymore. So now when I go to analytics all hours are there as before but on monetization page only public hours are shown.

yes, we don't use Google Ads at all, other ads traffic works fine also for watch-time, but note there are some unique tricks to use RAV views (watch-page) with long & silent videos to collect watch-time, it's not as in the past when we had the uHR views, but i some members here managed to complete that task for 4K hours, but only with content that is acceptable (stop motion, fish tank, public cam, countdowns etc.)

no those Google Ads views will never going to update as watch-time, see on the link above, i know it doesn't make any sense that YouTube filter out the watch-time from google adwords views, but they don't want you to "buy the 4000 hours" of watch-time, they want you to get it organically...
