Long term, it has to be something with in a niche that is one evergreen and two expanding, short term crap wont work... From there you can add in other ad ops channels that will shit on ad sense revenue.

The best niche you can use is the one you know something about and can create a site around easily. It's all about traffic. You'd be much better creating a site on fashion, technology, entertainment etc. and getting lots and lots of eyeballs on your site than picking a topic like mesothelioma just because the CPC is high.
And in most cases, ads are targeted to your visitor's particular interests, rather than the topic of the site. So, your visitor could see an ad for motorbikes on a site about cooking. So, pick a niche you're interested in and make the site so good that people will want to visit and stick around for as long as possible.

Adsense isnt as easy as it used to be a year or two ago. I used to make well over $100k a month from adsense but most of my traffic was from social media and now they limit them ads if a lot of your traffic is from social media. They do not ban the account they simply do not show your ads on the site so now I have had to start running a lot of different adsense accounts so when it happens to one account I can switch over to another one.
The idea you have to have a ton of traffic is not true. I was making $10k a month on a site with only 50k visitors a month. The key is well placed ads and relevant content.

Why are you not moving away from Adsense? There are loads of other networks out there and especially with your pageviews, you could easily work with a premium network that used header bidding and other optimisation techniques to maximise your earnings. Unless you're just starting out, Adsense is really only useful for fill.

I do use other networks now, but they do not pay as well as adsense.

Wow. Your keyword CPCs must be really high. Ad placement and content relevance are indeed key. People fail to give prominence to these things.

My argument is more that CPM is probably a better model for a site seeking to earn money from display ads. That way, you're not relying on high paying clicks. And you can create a site in a competitive / broad niche - the more popular the better. Adsense is a starting point but moving to a CPM network and optimising your ad stack will always outperform just using Adsense. A well-optimised site can conservatively earn $10 RPM.

The RPM is not always the best options if you have good ad placement. I have some sites that have a RPM well over $70 and you willl not get there with header bidder type programs

AdSense and traffic arbitrage is not easy if you're not into it.
If you are not looking for a blog you would need to get some kind of content that will be refreshed and updated from time to time, micro-niche sites don't work anymore. You have to think about where will you get traffic. It may take a while to get €20 per day from SEO, it won't be easy or fast.

Do you use multiple bank account numbers for each account or do you use 1 for all of them? I have 4 adsense accounts on a few different pioneers but I'm wondering if I could just link them all to my main bank account.
