We've been encouraging clients to send over as many photos as they can so we can add them to GMB. It appears to be working.

In addition to regular business photos we have also been:

Uploading screenshots of our reviews from various sources

Having a VA grab 20 industry facts or snippets and turning those into photos

Thanks
Do you charge monthly from clients to optimise Gmb (only Gmb) or 1 time after verification

Are you geotagging the photos as well by any chance? We are and are seeing some improvement with rankings.

Hi, I uploaded a few photos with screenshots (feedback) but more than 2 days it is not shown on google public page. Do I need to wait? Because there is no information about 'under review'.

Sometimes it took a week to show your pics on Google.

Intresting Hack should I add from my own account or ask client to add them also how will I be able to see the views
Ask client to add pics with reviews as it will be more fruitful. Google give preference to client reviews more.

Have you got any stats where the views was from?

did most goto google images or other places any stats.

I am asking because I want to no was it views from website or views from other places, a view just nice to no.

images seen from Pinterest more than website directly make sense, trying to really track down best place images are placed.

of course, the views will increase indexing.

2 weeks passed and still not appearing on google results. For example, when I upload 1 another type of photo - it was approved in 10 minutes. So does it really works this kind of photos?

Am I correct in thinking that the point of this is to increase the amount of photos in the GMB? ...because the amount of photos in the GMB is a ranking factor?

I like it, it's a clever idea and I think I'm gonna use it.
It reminds me of the "hack" for adding unique content to local doorway pages--textual driving directions.

Works for local area service businesses too. For local area service businesses it helps to have one of the local areas you are trying rank and the keyword in the photo name. Example: Los Angles dog groomer, mobile dog groomer in Los Angeles, dog groomer in Santa Monica and so on.

@Geasy has dropped everyone a nice nugget of gold for everyone to use. It works but this trick alone won't rank your GMB alone. Reviews and a proper setup GMB is still paramount. This trick will give you a leg up on the competition once you have everything else in order.

Amount of photos itself is not a ranking factor. More the freshness and engagement.
