Twitter username mention

I have 54 old twitter accounts and i'm planning to use them for mention bulk of username
I used this method in 2018, but now i tried use one of them to mention my main account on someone's tweet, i checked my main account and didn't get any notification
Then i tried use another account, change IP and mention other accounts then checked my other account, also got nothing, no notification

Maybe this mention method is dead?

Easy to confirm, test using different accounts to make the @mention and to receive.

I was using this method but i get shadow banned real quick then when i tried to mention myself from another account it diden't work. I will say try to use hashtags and send like , comments and shares to rank for thoes hashtags

How often were you doing it?
From how many accounts?
Over what time frame?
Any other footprints linking the accounts?

I was just testing from only 1 account
