I have been browsing through the marketplace, but I can't find anyone doing whitehat services here (obviously its BHW, thought it was worth a shot though).

I'm looking for a reliable service that people have used here before and can confirm it's legit.

Link building. I'm fine with on page SEO and writing content, but the link building and sometimes finding keywords takes away my focus from what I really should be working on. I'm happy to pay someone else to help me with that

In regards to linkbuilding it´s going to be hard for you to find a white hat service as most of them rely on PBNs and stuff.

You´re better off outsourcing other aspects of your business SEO and focus YOUR efforts on building links yourself.

Well your question kinda doesnt make sense ... how can link building be white hat? you're manipulating google to think people are voluntarily linking to your site... thats black hat no matter how u do it ...

This! If you want to be white hat, just focus on your content and on page. And PRAY those links come come naturally. Because EVERY single link building is considered grey or black hat.

And oh btw, white hat is lame..

I don't know where you got the idea that they all rely on PBNs?

There are good link building services on BHW, just check the reviews. Although, as some members already mentioned, link building in itself is kind of black hat, so it's important to keep that in mind. If you want to be on the safe side, focus on quality links from real sites (check organic traffic on SEMRush or Ahrefs).
