DO NOT follow the herd and just go for the most popular niches, they also have the most competition to rank your pins....and should you "borrow" pins rather than create your own, you will also suffer the highest number of account losses via suspensions & DMCA claims....

Go for the low hanging fruit....smaller niches or even sub-niches of bigger niches and focus your efforts on them.
