2 Affiliate Websites To 3k/month within 4 months

JOURNEY TIME!! I love journeys and is probably the section where I spend most of my time here on BHW. So why not create one myself?

A summary of my beginning / last year

I started my first affiliate website in December 2019 and decided to make a fulltime living of it within a year, at this point and time I was a truck driver hating my life.. To make this story short i :

- wrote as much as I could, but I procrastinated a lot
- I went to Chiang Mai in Thailand met some awesome people that inspired me to continue before this trip I didnt have 100% confidence in my idea.
- wrote even more, but more focus on affiliate content after that trip.

1 year later in December I quit my job and is now working fulltime on my websites here in Norway.

But there still was a problem....

Both the affiliate websites that were making me money were very seasonal which I figured out after I quit my job, so now in December I won't be making enough to sustain my lifestyle.

But I still have the money I earned this winter season, so I have enough money to support myself until Mai.

So now I have 3 months to make 3k/month with 2 expired domains I bought.

What I have done so far in this journey

1. Bought two expired domains, 1 with 400+ Ref domains and the second is 100+ ref domains.
- It cost me about 2000$ in total for both.

But by buying these I won't be spending any money on links only with the revenue I earn from the website.

2. Written 10k words so far the past three days.


What I am planning to do from now

My plan is pretty straight forward, I plan to write as much as possible every single day, no link building yet, only high-quality content with my Norwegian / English + Grammarly. I have been inspired by shaunm`s new journey.. he is just a beast when it comes to content it seems.

I am in a new niche so it takes a lot of time for me to write good articles, so far today I have spent about 4 focused hours on 2000 words... sad.

But every day I go to this Cafe which opens at 8:00, I pack a lot of food and I stay there until 18:00, then I go workout and game/chill... jeep i have no life, but I love it.

Will update on visitors when that is relevant and word count every day

sounds like a great start, I myself love affiliate sites and work with them well. I have tried CPA and other styles for fun but I can never get them to work like the members here. I guess everyone has a calling. Are you using amazon or another company as an affiliate? I have better luck digging random affiliates out of research then you can make a bit more or find some cool niches.

Started with a fresh domain, wrote 200k words, earned enough to live in Norway without a job. A lot of guides on here that can guide you, I have gotten all my information from here and google.

End of the day update:

Site 1 : 3200 words - Finished an article, long one.. needs to add images and amazon links later tonight.
Site 2 : 700 words - need about 1500 words more to publish this one.

Now I am off to the gym.

I am on a similar journey as you. However, I would really say that it takes some balls to quit your job after having one single successful Amazon affiliate website. Especially if it is seasonal. But I guess you won't win anything in life if you don't take risks...I just like to play it a bit more safe.

Well it was kinfa calculated actually, but yes risky as well, but if the affiliate website went to 0 then so what? there are plenty of jobs so I really didnt think it was risky.

Da Nang or Ho Chi Minh City are similar to Chiang Mai, and much more affordable than Norway.

Have been a stressful day in the private life, didnt have many hours to work on, but I am happy with the terms of word count in comparison to the hours of work I had.

Looking forward to tomorrow, going to have the whole day dedicated to working.

Aiming to beat @Shaunm wordcount on his journey tomorrow so I probably have to aim for 6-7k words, going to be a pain, but fun.

Where did you your expired domains?

Are this sites have links from the top authority sites , and are this domains are just general domain or relevant to your niche?

First I find a good expired domain then I build a website on top of it. This time I used serpnames by summit. Highly recommend him so far, great service.
