Hey, ive never bought bitcoin before and i need it to do a payment. Can someone please tell me is it safe to buy from place like coinmama?
I think i already have a wallet, but is that everything? Put my walled id and buy from the place and than its done?
if not, it would be nice if someone tells me some website ( if possible not to trade with other guy, direct buying )

As the title says, i don't wanna risk my money going with traders, and they usually take high provisions.

I saw coinmama , for 300$ i get around 280$ worth bitcoin, is that site legit? And does it like directly transfer the BTC to my account?

Please if anyone knows something about this help me out :)

I haven't bought bitcoin from coinmama, I think they are legit. I have to verify my account with them by sending them my ID. I did this in 2018. The height of the crypto frenzy. I don't know what country you are, but I bought from coinbase in 2018. I think Binance also sells bitcoin. You can buy from bitcoin ATM

Basically, you can buy from any exchange. It is legit. I hated peer to peer buying. They want me to verify my ID with them and they increase their prices. I think this will help you https://bitscreener.com/coins/bitcoin/how-to-buy-BTC

I hope that banks don't ban you as credit card holder. There were rumours of banks banning credit card users or rejecting the transactions.

Coinbase? If you can, CC fees for crypto are pretty high.

Yep, that is it. But make sure you have your wallet's password/key because once you lose it, the bitcoin is gone....... And verify the wallet i.e. make sure the numbers and letters matches with what you have. You can buy a little, maybe like $5. So that if make a mistake, you only lost $5 and not the $300.

I believe they will transfer directly to your wallet.... My experience is from other exchanges and not coinmama

Try a more reputed exchange like coin base.

I am using bistamp for CC (I believe the fee is around 5%) and kraken (for wire transfer, the fee is 0% but it takes a few days for the money to arrive). I heard of Coinmama but never used it.
Once bought, the crypto will land in the wallet of the exchange; from there, you have to transfer in your personal wallet (hardware wallet is safer, like Ledger or Trezor).
If you need any more info, let me know, I'm doing this for some time.

Coinbase is terrible. If you don't mind paying the fees, paybis is your best option.

I'm using the website blockchain and my credit card there.
